Paintball Fun

Tommy turned 10 and to celebrate we had a joint paintball party with his buddy Andrew. It turned out to be a cold a slightly wet day, but that did not stop the kids or grown up kids from having a blast. After 9 hours of playing they asked when can we do this again.

Christmas Tree Farm

Donovans class went to a Christmas tree farm (something we didn't do in Florida) and got to cut down their own tree for the class. When asked what the best thing about the trip was, he said seeing Santas Pajamas and socks hanging!

Leaving was hard to do

Leaving is always hard, but it was great to spend Thanksgiving with our wonderful family and friends. What a special treat it was to spend time with Robert, Terri, Sidney and soon to be baby boy Duffy. We were theme parked out the last few days and just enjoyed the pool (yes, it was nice and warm) and visiting our awesome friends the Mancusos. We got to see their new boat, what a beauty. I was glad to see that the miles have not changed a thing with the kids friendship, they just seem to pick right back up where they left off last time.

Islands of Adventure

Wednesday, Nov 23, 2005. We spent the day at Universal's I of A. What a great time! The lines were not as ruthless as yesterday at Disney and we got to do all that we wanted. Tommy has topped the 54" mark so he rode The Hulk and Dueling Dragons 3 times each! Donovan is now 40" and went on Spiderman but got a little freaked out. The big kids (T, H, T, & A) went on the Jurassic Park water ride, but kept dry with ponchos. I don't know why, though, because the kids got soaked thanks to the talking (and squirting) fountain, and the parents found a watering hole of their own! At least we made friends with Spiderman, Merlin, and The Cat In The Hat. Hope to see you all soon!!

Florida

We started our Florida vacation at our WONDERFUL friends the Mancusos! They always show us a great time. They had a get together at their house with a few of our friends. Thanks guys for your hospitality!

A Day at Disney

We went to The Magic Kingdom today. The boys had a blast even with all the crowds. Donovan loved meeting Woody and Jessie. Ethan had a blast just watching everything and everyone. Tommy and Austin had a great time on Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain (with child swap they got to ride everything twice-thanks Ethan). We all had fun exploring Tom Sawyer's island especially the Fort with the hidden tunnel. Yesterday we spent the day at Epcot but due to the weather we opted to leave the camera behind. Highlight of the day was Donovan being tall enough to ride Test Track and boy did he like it!

FIELD TRIP The family (yes, all six of us) went to the corn maze on a field trip with our homeschool friends. We played in a corn box, not a sand box, went on a hay ride, picked out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, pet Jack the donkey, played on the hay stack and of coarse did the maze without getting lost.
The boys are learning about the heart, so in tune with Halloween we decided to make our own blood. What fun they had!
Trick or Treating? Either way a good time was had by all!

Curls no more! It was a sad day here, at least for mommy. We gave Ethan his first haircut (yes it was time). He was not very happy but got over it fast. We now have an almost 18 month toddler and as promised Grammy I did save you a few curls.

Great Grammy came to South Carolina for a visit! We so enjoyed spending time with her. The boys have had a lot of fun playing with and being tickled by her. She truly is a beautiful person. We will miss her when she returns to home in Arizona.

For those of you who do not know yet, I have taken the plunge and started home schooling Tommy and Austin (with much thanks and support of my best friend and mentor Amy). Here are a few pictures of our first field trip to the beautiful Oconee Station Falls. It was also a great chance for me to play with the camera a little and work on my love of photography.

Uncle Jim and Aunt Laura came to visit. They even went with Donovan on his first field trip with preschool to pick apples.

Here we go! Aren't we the best-looking family you have EVER seen?? Well, except for our friends the Mancusos, of course...
